Small Business Administration proposes three export finance programs: Export Express, International Trade Loan and Export Working Capital Program. The benefits & opportunities to lenders & SMEs will be identified plus each programs’ eligibility, underwriting criteria and other features.

Export-Import Bank has specific programs for exporters including Express Insurance Expedited Protection Against Foreign Buyer Nonpayment. This short-term insurance policy helps SMEs expand into new foreign markets, add new buyers, and transfer all foreign buyer credit decision making to Ex-Im Bank at an economical cost. SMEs can extend competitive credit terms & obtain lender financing.

Mike Fazio (SBA), Denis Griffin (Ex-Im Bank) & Fred Goldman (COFACE)Mike Fazio joined the SBA in 2013 with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, which included positions in commercial lending with a major regional bank and in financial institution supervision with the FDIC.  He is currently the District International Trade Officer for the SBA’s Wisconsin District Office.  Based in Milwaukee, Mike is responsible for the SBA’s international trade activities and export finance program marketing in Wisconsin.  He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s Executive MBA program. 

Denis Griffin joined Ex-Im Bank as Director, Minneapolis Regional Office, and helped open the office in July 2012. He brings a 25-year career in business development and sales with Atradius Trade Credit Insurance, Philips Electronics and Kyocera Corporation. Denis graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia and earned an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.

Fred Goldman joined Coface as a Trade Credit Risk Specialist in 2013 with over 20 years’ experience in risk management in the financial services industry including trading, portfolio hedging and business risk systems development. Diverse experience gives him a unique perspective into business analysis when working with companies to improve cash flow, expand new business around the world and reduce customer debt collections. Fred is a graduate of University of Wisconsin at Whitewater in Finance.
