New WCEDA Site
WCEDA has a brand new website! Unlike the old website that acted to only store old information, WCEDA’s new website is designed to keep businesses and community members up to date on what is happening in their area.
This new website offers a host of new features that you can learn about in our video walkthrough, or you may explore at your own leisure. Either way, WCEDA has made some big changes.
WCEDA now accepts all major credit cards!

- Membership Login - WCEDA Members can now login to their own account and access past and present board agendas and minutes, access the connect database (I will get to this later), pay dues online, update their contact information, or register for events.
- Business Directory - Anyone can now go onto WCEDA’s website and search for a business in the county. Searches are possible by business name, business SIC code, business owners name, phone number, or address.
- Business Start-up Walkthrough - Entrepreneurs can go onto WCEDA’s website and find a step by step process to starting up their own business. Many of the steps can be done online in as little as 15 minutes. This walkthrough also allows WCEDA to showcase some of its members that offer startup assistance.
- Register for Events Online - Now it is easier than ever to register for WCEDA events or workshops. With all of WCEDA’s events advertised online, you can search our calendar for the events you want to go to and registration is as easy as a click.
- Regular News Update - To keep our website content fresh and relevant, WCEDA has the ability to publish its own articles for you to view at your own leisure, and with the RSS feed, you can stay on top of WCEDA’s news stories through regular email updates.
- Enhanced County Data - WCEDA has updated and expanded all of the demographic information available on each city and village in the county. With access to maps, local electeds contact information, GIS access, utility providers, a breakdown of the business makeup, and a workforce breakdown, land use maps, comprehensive plans and more is available right at your fingertips.
- Site & Building Search - To help offer a one stop shop for all those looking to get information on our area, WCEDA has compiled all of the known commercial/industrial sites and buildings into one easy to use map that offers aerial views and street maps.
- CONNECT Database - The long awaited RFP/RFQ database is finally available for everyone to use. WCEDA will start by updating the database with those RFP’s/RFQ’s that are currently out for bid in the county. Private businesses are encouraged to post and search through RFP’s and RFQ’s to hopefully find new business or a new supplier.
- Local Electeds Database - Now finding out who serves your community is easier than ever. WCEDA’s database is updated after every election, and offers a list of those people that serve in your area.
- LINKS! - Most of all our, new website has more links to better information. Find out what zoning regulations and permitting processes online go through the State of Wisconsin’s registration and license database, find information of the various incentive programs available both from public and private bodies.
WCEDA’s new website was designed by Wisconsin Center for Information Technology Services (WiCITS). For more information on how WiCITS can service your business call (262)472-1980.
